ABOUT US -------

The Cake Whisperer, baker and creator of The Cake Wisp, began cooking at the age of seven, helping her mom make pie crusts.  Curious about the science of yeast and doughs, she mastered the art of making yeast breads at an early age.

Her passion for baking and nurturing mind, body, and spirit has been a lifetime commitment, and her butter croissants and viennoiserie represent the culmination of decades of her practice of the science and art of making beautiful and nutritious bread and pastry.

The Cake Wisp is a cottage industry bakery, which means that there is currently no fixed retail location.  All sales are direct to consumer, at advertised pop-ups, farmers' markets, and online. These products are homemade and not subject to state inspection.

Because of delivery restrictions for cottage industry bakeries, The Cake Wisp cannot send orders through commercial delivery services, e.g., USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.

Pick-ups and deliveries in both St. Paul and St. Peter, MN can be scheduled through the online order form.  Follow us on Instagram for advertised events.

This Is How We Do It

THIS IS HOW WE DO IT

Cows Grazing in Fields

We are committed to health and sustainability, both for our consumers and the planet. We source our ingredients locally, and we use organic ingredients when feasible. Our packaging is compostable or recyclable. We use grass-fed butter, which is higher in omega-3 fatty acids and conjugated linoleic acids (CLA) than regular butter. These healthy unsaturated fats have anti-inflammatory properties and have been linked to many health benefits. Of course, moderation is key, and as the French say, "A croissant a day never hurt anyone."
